Hi all, Just wondered if any of you Chaps Have a Wife who not only encourages your Model rail hobby, but also persues it in her own right? A few years ago whilst exhibiting part of our Tri-ang collection at the Tri-ang society Cheltenham show, my Wife discovered Tri-ang TT, promptly fell in love with it, and started her own collection there & then! She now has a sizeable collection of almost entirely, but not exclusively, Tri-ang TT. Additionally, as well as building a simple layout to go around the Cristmas tree (which now resides in the living room minus tree all year!), She has a 6ftx3ft4ins exhibition layout inspired by the ones featured in various Tri-Ang TT catalogues; i.e basic, out of the box, on the table modelling. Just great fun, but takes a long time to assemble at shows! Also great fun telling people to ask her questions about the layout as it's not mine. some of the faces they pull are amazing - What! A woman who likes to play with toy trains!? Anyone else got a Wife/partner like mine? Regards, Rob, Gloucester, England.

Hello all - checking in from Portland, Oregon on the west coast of the USA! However, I am originally from East Anglia having lived in Chesterton, Cambridge! I have a 12' x 8' layout based loosely on the GWR 1958-62. It's DCC with Code75 Peco Streamline and Electrofrogs. I have some DCC ready locos, but have also been hardwiring some older ones! My layout is called East Cheltwell which you may have come across on a model railway forum. Look forward to hearing from others. Thanks to Tim for setting up the site!
